SELF-ASSESMENT 1º TERM

  • What can I do that I couldn't do before?
I think my speaking is a little bit more fluent than in september
  • What do I like most?
I like most the speaking parts, the presentations or the classes with Abby. The videos/movies are really nice as well.
  • What do I do well?
I think I do well on writing texts.
  • What am I confused about?
Maybe the pronunciation is a little bit tricky sometimes.
  • What do I need help with?
I think I don't need help.
  • What do I do in English outside the class?
Basicaly, almost my entire youtube historial is filled with english videos. And I also usually search for things on the internet in english. I see TV programs in english as well. I also play videogames in english.
  • What do I need to improve?
I think all my english skills are improvable in some sort of way.
  • What did I learn about culture?
I learn a lot about Yellowstone Park and about different types of hotels and houses

Bid: Quantity of products that are going to be sold.
Charge: To ask (money) for payment.
Semi-detached: Joined to another on one side by a common wall.
Stunning: Amazing.
Terraced: A raised level with a vertical or sloping front or sides faced with masonry, turf, or the like, esp. one of a series of levels rising one above another.
Six-bedroomed: With six bedrooms.

Media: Way of communication.
Product: Something produced by factories or companies.
Slogan: Small and easy affirmation which promotes business.
Slot: Place.
Habitable: Somewhere where you can live.
Ordinary: Common.
Potential: Possible, as opposed to actual; that might or could be true but is not yet so.
Old-fashioned: Belonging to, characteristic of, or favoured by former times; outdated.

Bully: One who bothers and hurts smaller people.
Founder: To fill with water and sink.
Star: A famous or well-known actor, singer, etc., esp. one who plays the leading role in a production. A famous person in some art, profession, or field.
Victim: A person who suffers from destruction or an injury.
Habitat: The natural environment of a living thing.
National Park: An area of countryside for public use designated by a national government as being of notable scenic, environmental, or historical importance.
The wild: Living in a state of nature and not tamed.

SELF-ASSESMENT

1 What can I do that I couldn't do before?
Now, I can use de past perfect, the zero and third conditional and the relative pronouns.And also speak faster and better.
2 What do I like most?
I enjoyed a lot the different Abi's games.
3 What do I do well?
I think my best is writing
4 What am I confused about?
I'm confused about mixing the passive voice with other verbs' forms or other auxiliary verbs.
5 What do I need help with?
I need help with pronunciation.
6 What do I do in English outside the class?
I play videogames, listen to songs and videos of almost my entire youtube are in English.
7 What do I need to improve?
I need to improve my speaking and pronunciation.
8 What did I learn about culture?
I've learned a lot about Irish culture and foods around the world
